Last night on MSNBC's Scarborough Country, Dean Calbreath of the San Diego Union Tribune - which recently won a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the Cunningham case - said that "as many as a half a dozen" members of Congress could ultimately be implicated in the prostitution scandal.And some of those hookers might be dudes.

SILENT HILLSVILLE
Once 1,100 people called this place home, drawn to the town for its thriving coalmining industry. But one day in 1964 an accident deep beneath the town sparked a fire that quickly spread through the mine's underground tunnels.
The flames were so furious that nothing could be done to stop it, and 42 years later the fire is still raging under the streets. Temperatures have reached 1,000C, forcing the local petrol station to close. Tens of millions of tons of coal have been burned and experts say the fire cannot be put out.

So do aliens exist? Yes, according to McKinnon.
He said he came across a group called the "Disclosure Project", which had expert testimonies from senior figures who said technology obtained from extra-terrestrials did exist.
He said one NASA scientist reported that the Johnson Space Centre had a facility where UFOs were airbrushed out of high-resolution satellite images. So, he broke in to see for himself.
"I saw what I'm convinced was some kind of satellite or spacecraft but it was manufactured by no means I have ever seen before -- there were no rivets, no seams, it was like one flawless piece of material. And that was above the Earth."

As the 2006 midterm elections approach, this active/negative president can be expected to take further risks. If anyone doubts that Bush, Cheney, Rove and their confidants are planning an "October Surprise" to prevent the Republicans from losing control of Congress, then he or she has not been observing this presidency very closely.

Qigong revival
THE earliest records of qigong being practised were found on archaeological artifacts excavated in Qinghai province, China, dated approximately 5,000 years ago. These were in the form of drawings on gallipots. Descriptions of qigong were also found in relics from the Western Han Dynasty (206-24 BC), excavated in Hunan province; and actual written records were found in the ancient Chinese classic Shanshu, of the same period.

Breaking into the US citadel was easier than child's play
Gary McKinnon hacked into Pentagon, army, navy and Nasa computer systems looking for evidence of UFO. He may end up in Guantanamo Bay for his trouble.He never did find anything about anti-gravity but he did stumble on intriguing details on extra-terrestrial activity. Computers in Building 8 of the Johnson Space Center, for example, contained satellite pictures showing what looked like alien space ships. But Mr McKinnon never saw these as closely as he would have liked.
Before he could download them fully, someone on the space center computer system noticed the unauthorised access on the network and cut the connection.
Security at the space center was subsequently tightened to the extent that Mr McKinnon could not re-enter. He did, however, find lists on other computer systems that referred to "non-terrestrial officers" and lists of ships that did not correspond to anything the US had in the air or on the seas - leading Mr McKinnon to suspect the existence of a secret space army.Another goodie via the Anomalist.
