How a Conspiracy Theorist Who Thought I Was the Zodiac Killer Almost Ruined My Life

Conspiracies theories are all fun and games until you become the subject of one.

  1. My heart goes out to Professor O'Hare. On two seperate occasions I've been in a position similar to his: Once, several years ago I was sent several semi-hysterical emails accusing me of being part of a conspiracy to cover the Black Dahlia murder. Also there is an individual who is convinced that I'm a high-ranking freemason and satanic priest working for the NWO and part of an ongoing conspiracy to cover of the notorious Jack the Ripper crimes of 1888(!). This person maintains a blog where she until recently attacked me on a regular basis, while simultaneously leaving libellous comments on a plethora of other blogs and forums.

    While both instances have a certain amusement value, they can also be very draining and frustrating at times.

    Great job on ferreting out the story. You, as always, rock.
