"Man of Steel" trailer confims it - Superman is a Jayhawk
I've long suspected it but the latest trailer for
Man of Steel
makes it plain - Superman is a University of Kansas Jayhawks fan. It makes a lot of sense. Clark Kent is from Smallville, Kansas, and look at his costume - crimson and blue, anyone? Not to mention his fine upstanding character. I'm not sure if the film will allude to Superman actually attending KU - he looks too busy saving the world to have spent much time on campus - but I'm pretty confident I know who he roots for when March Madness rolls around. I wonder if Ma or Pa Kent are alumni.
