Task force launched in Lefkow slayings 
A possible link between the slayings of a federal judge's husband and mother and the conviction last year of a white supremacist who tried to have her killed is one of several facets an investigative task force will pursue, Chicago officials said today.

Lefkow's life has been threatened before. White supremacist Matt Hale, the self-proclaimed "Pontifex Maximus" of the World Church of the Creator, is to be sentenced next month for plotting her murder. See this Chicago Tribune article for more details.
