'45 jail escape tunnel located

The 1945 nickel jumped out at archaeologists digging just beyond Eastern State Penitentiary's hulking walls, posing an obvious question: Could one of the 12 inmates who emerged from a carefully dug tunnel in the spring of that year have come up five cents short?
