It's about time. There has always been serious doubt that Wayne Williams was guilty of anything, let alone the 22 killings (known as the Atlanta Child Murders) for which he was charged but never tried. Improvements in DNA technology should be able to tell us once and for all. And frankly, if the State is so certain that he committed the two murders he is currently serving time for they should reopen those cases, or at least grant Williams an appeal, and prove his guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt. here. Hex Correspondent Ian found this after wading through the FBI files. He believes that a thorough reading of the files illuminates a ritual aspect to the killings, including the washing of the bodies, ritual scarring, etc.
Satanists have also been linked to the case, notably in Maury Terry's controversial book
