This week's release of 9/11 audio tapes of that fateful day in New York has opened old wounds.
And one of those wounds, NewsChannel 5 has learned, is in O'Fallon, Missouri.
More than 20 tons of hallowed steel from the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were supposed to be placed at the city's municipal center. But after three years, it's sitting, rusting in a St. Louis construction yard.
