Trial told of torn-up doll

Domestic violence defendant Richard W. Hamlin tore off the head of a doll given to his 8-year-old daughter as a birthday gift and sent it back to his father-in-law as a way to further alienate his wife from her family, according to testimony in Hamlin's ongoing trial.
