Who wrote the Apostle Paul's New Testament letters? For many Christians, the question is considered a no-brainer -- the spiritual equivalent of "Who's buried in Grant's Tomb?"
But Lexington Theological Seminary professor Jerry L. Sumney plans to tell Lay School of Theology students this month that the answer is more complex than many churchgoers realize.
"Lots of New Testament scholars are convinced that Paul didn't write all those letters that have his name on them," Sumney said.
