A new exhibit at the museum of the Daughters of the American Revolution can be summed up in a word: odd.
About 80 items are part of the display called "Obsolete, Odd and Absolutely Ooky Stuff from the D-A-R Museum Vaults."
Its includes, among other things, George Washington's earwax spoon, an 1823 Grand Harmonicon instrument made up of glasses filled with different levels of water and a pot used for drinking the precursor to today's eggnog.
