On the big lake they call "Gitche Gumee"

A group of meteorologists from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced Thursday that they have solved at least part of the mystery of the Edmund Fitzgerald, the Great Lakes legend that sank Nov. 10, 1975, in a Lake Superior storm.
