Buy Loren Coleman A Beer 
If you met Loren Coleman, famed cryptozoologist and writer, would you buy him a beer? I would. And not a cheap one either - one of those good $5 dollar ales.

Here's your chance. Loren is having some financial trouble and is struggling to keep his excellent and informative web site, Cryptomundo, on line. Cryptomundo is a valuable resource for all things cryptozoological and a worthy addition to the Weird Wide Web.

You can help by donating a little cash. There's a Pay Pal link on the site and here are instructions on how to help by check or money order, or by buying a signed copy of one of Loren's many classic books. I bought a copy of Mysterious America, one of my favorite books from my youth and one of the reasons you're reading this right now.

So pretend you're hanging out with Loren Coleman this weekend. For the price of a beer or two you can help keep one of the best sites on the Web open and available to all of us. Every little bit helps. I don't have huge traffic on this blog, but $5 bucks from every reader would go a long way.

And no, I don't think he'll spend the money on beer.

Ha ha, Professor Hex, you're right. The donations and sales from your great readers won't be spent on beer. Besides the fact I never drink anything stronger than root beer, don't smoke, and according to some people, don't have any vices other than watching baseball sometimes too much, I have too many important bills to pay to waste contributions!

I'll pass on the beer, but sure appreciate the friendship.
