Jerry Fraser felt something hard under his boot that spring afternoon in Marietta. He scuffed away the leaves piled against a hedge in the yard and saw the unmistakable shape of a gravestone. Brushing aside winter's windfall, he uncovered a piece of marble, and a mystery.
