Area man investigates mysterious fire deaths

Spontaneous human combustion supposedly burns the body intensely from the torso and leaves little more than charred cinders and, usually, intact limbs. A 1951 case involving Mary Reeser, a Mechanicsburg woman living in St. Petersburg, Fla., first caught Arnold's attention.
