Festival looks at Scotland's 'wizard'

Speaking ahead of his Saturday night talk, present-day scientist Howie Firth explained, “Michael Scot, or Michael the Scot, was known across the whole of Europe in the 13th century for his pioneering work in knowledge. He was amongst the first to make Aristotle’s works available in translation after a gap of several hundred years.
