Images may hold answer to 67-year-old mystery

A geological survey last week found three anomalies in the ground beneath a home in Carolina Beach. Now, Ron Crowson has to figure out whether the variations in the soil revealed in images taken by ground-penetrating radar could be the burial sites of a mother and daughter who disappeared 67 years ago.
