Rocks of ages

After the darkest night of each year, the feeble light of the rising sun shines on a cairn on the crest of a hill named Loughcrew in Ireland's County Meath.

Thanks to an extraordinary feat of prehistoric architecture, it illuminates the length of a man-made passage hewn back into the mountain.
