Unveiling the mystery of Mona Lisa

Cotte’s images are the most accurate recreation of the masterpiece yet. His photographs are reproduced in giant size, at 1,500 dpi, giving a perspective on the painting that simply cannot be seen under normal conditions. He also shows it in variable states of color, from the 1506 original to what it looks like today, and he even gives viewers a glimpse at its back, including inscriptions, and under the frame.
