Tragedy spawned weird tales

Like most famous rock 'n' roll tragedies, the deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. (Big Bopper) Richardson near Clear Lake, Iowa, on Feb. 3, 1959 has spawned its share of legends, weird tales and mysteries.
