Rare discovery ancient gemstone with portrait of Alexander the Great

A volunteer at a public structure in the south Tel Dor excavation, unearthed an engraved gemstone with a miniature portrait of the Greek ruler, Alexander the Great. The portrait is in such detail that all the characteristics of Alexander the Great are depicted on this gemstone. The stone is less than a centimeter high and half a centimeter in width.
