A Satanic cult touches off a wave of fear with a two-day killing spree

Steven Craig Hurd was the leader of a small band of devil worshippers who touched off a local wave of fear with the slayings of service station attendant Jerry Wayne Carlin, 20, and school teacher Florence Nancy Brown, 29, during a two-day crime spree in 1970.
