The mysterious Edward J. Kelty

For two decades, at this season of the year, he would pack his small truck with an enormous camera and lenses and roam America photographing likely — and unlikely — subjects at circuses and sideshows. Oddball? Sometimes, but he is nationally known as the world’s greatest circus photographer. Miles Barth, author and historian, called him, “a Cecil B. DeMille.”
